Gigi Hadid's reaction to Zayn Malik's song about Perrie Edwards revealed

Gigi Hadid is apparently a huge fan of Zayn Malik's new single, It's You. The 23-year-old singer debuted his new track from the forthcoming solo album Mind Of Mine, on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, which is seemingly inspired by his highly-publicised split from the Little Mix singer, Perrie Edwards.

"Gigi loves Zayn's album. She thinks 'It's You' is a beautiful song and understands why it was made," a source told Hollywood Life. "She knows that every song on the album is important to Zayn and she is giving him his full support. These songs are like his children and she respects him for doing what he has done. She doesn't feel weird about it at all."

Rumours that the former One Direction star and Hadid are romantically involved started after he and the 20-year-old model were spotted in the same car following the American Music Awards after-party at Los Angeles' The Nice Guy club on 24 November 2015. Malik released Pillow Talk on 29 January, featuring Hadid. In the song's music video, he shared steamy kisses with Hadid confirming their relationship.

Previously, in an interview with Billboard magazine, Malik talked about what he is looking for in a relationship. He said: "I need a challenge. Also, I like girls that are a bit chunky in certain areas — the nice areas. I like a fuller woman. I enjoy an intellectual conversation as well, where someone can construct a sentence beyond what hair and makeup they're wearing, and talk about something political or about the world. I like an opinion."
