Golden Globes 2014: Ronan Farrow Blasts Father Woody Allen on Twitter

Ronan Farrow has slammed his estranged father Woody Allen on Twitter, after the filmmaker was honored at the 71st annual Golden Globes awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The 78-year-old, who was unable to attend the event, received the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award accepted by Diane Keaton on his behalf. She co-starred with Allen in Annie Hall, one of his most successful films.

Allen split with his longtime partner and Ronan's mother, actress Mia Farrow in 1992, leaving her for his adoptive daughter Soon-Yi Previn, who is now his third wife.

Ronan wrote, on Twitter, "Missed the Woody Allen tribute - did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?"

The 26-year-old was referring to his sister, Farrow's adopted daughter Dylan, who accused Allen of molesting her when she was seven years old.

Meanwhile, Mia also expressed her disapproval of the tribute by writing, "Time go grab some ice cream & switch over to #GIRLS," adding, "Nite all."

Dylan opened up to Vanity Fair about the shocking child molestation claims brought against Allen in October 2013.

She said: "I'm scared of him, his image. I have never been asked to testify. If I could talk to the seven-year-old Dylan, I would tell her to be brave, to testify

"There's a lot I don't remember, but what happened in the attic I remember. I remember what I was wearing and what I wasn't wearing. The things making me uncomfortable were making me think I was a bad kid, because I didn't want to do what my elder told me to do."

She added: "I was cracking. I had to say something. I was seven. I was doing it because I was scared. I wanted it to stop. This was how fathers treated their daughters. This was normal interaction, and I was not normal for feeling uncomfortable about it."
