The 54th Grammy Awards witnessed some electrifying performances on stage, though the event was overshadowed by the loss of one of the music industry's memorable voices, Whitney Houston.

Katy Perry, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj are among those who set the stage on fire with their high-voltage performances.

Rihanna took the stage with her performing her no.1 hit "We Found Love," while Taylor Swift performed her Grammy-winning "Mean". Jennifer Hudson moved the audience in to the memory of Whitney Houston with the rendition of Whitney's "I Will Always Love You".
