Grimm ended its Season 4 mid-season finale with several cliffhanger situations.

Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee) finally knows about Wesen, and is having a hard time accepting it.

Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) are being dangerously harassed by a group targeting them because of their inter-Wesen marriage. Monroe was kidnapped by the group, and going by the promos, he is in a lot of trouble.

Also, the jaw-dropping moment of the episode was Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) changing into a Hexenbiest just like Adalind (Claire Coffee).

Grimm will return with all new episodes on January 16, 2015 on NBC.

The 9th episode is titled, Wesenrein, where Nick will go on a mad hunt for Monroe.

The official synopsis reads as follows:

The Wesenrein act on their many threats against Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee's (Bree Turner) marriage. Meanwhile, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) bring Wu (Reggie Lee) to a place where he's sure to find the answers he's looking for. Elsewhere, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) tries to come to grips with her new reality. Sasha Roiz and Claire Coffee guest star.

Bitsie Tulloch, who plays Juliette, said that she is going to hide her little Hexenbiest problem from Nick for as long as she can.

Tulloch told Zap2it: "[Becoming a Hexenbiest] is the last thing in the world she wants. It's hard enough for her being as involved as she is with the Grimm stuff."

"She's the kind of Wesen, or witch rather, that her boyfriend's fate is to kill them, so that's kind of scary and she's obviously going to try to hide it from him while she figures out how to correct it. She's obviously going to try to desperately get back to normal," she added.

Meanwhile, a new promo released by NBC shows Monroe in a difficult situation.

"Can he save Monroe, before he pays the ultimate price" the promo says, and then cuts to the bloodied face of Monroe shouting, "Noo"
