Guardians Of The Galaxy 2: James Gunn confirms post-credit scene, shares filming and cast update
James Gunn has shared some details about Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 cast and filming update. The director has also confirmed that the Marvel sequel will feature a post credit scene, which has already been scripted.
Gunn said that the first full table read for Guardians Vol 2's script happened this week, and that the returning cast is amazing.
The director also shared a picture via Facebook with Chris Pratt, who plays Star Lord/Peter Quill in the movie. He wrote, "Table read for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was this morning. Oh my gosh, it was the most fun I've ever had watching a table read, and just as much fun seeing everyone together again."
The director also replied to a few fan queries about the upcoming movie. A Twitter user asked, "Is the post-credit scene already scripted or will you think about it later?" to which Gunn replied, "Scripted."
When asked about filming and the new cast announcement, he said, "We start shooting in a couple weeks" and said that a full cast announcement is coming soon.
Chris Pratt also shared some updates about his upcoming movies, Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 and Passengers via an Instagram post. The actor wrote, "I did a table read for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 this morning and then shot all day on Passengers and just now wrapped some 144 hours later. Weirdly both films, which iI'l be shooting back to back, are being shot in Atlanta at Pinewood studios. We have the best crew. Total rock stars busting their asses. And the stuff we're shooting. My God. I can't wait for you to see it."
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 arrives in theatres 5 May 2017. The movie stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket.
