Guardians Of The Galaxy 2: James Gunn teases 'something pretty cool' for fans at San Diego Comic-Con
As filming for Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 comes to an end, director James Gunn has posted a video suggesting that "something pretty cool" is in store for fans. In a video posted on his Facebook page, the director not only announced the movie's presence at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), he also mentioned that filming for the Chris Pratt-starring sequel has concluded.
"We also want to let everybody on Facebook know that we have an announcement. We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year. We are going to be there. I'm going to be there. Chris Pratt is going to be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we are going to show you guys something pretty cool," he said in the video.
Gunn has been posting videos as each lead character complete their filming schedule, and Pratt, who will play Peter Quill aka the Star-Lord, was the latest to complete the shoot. Earlier, Kurt Russell, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista finished filming their parts.
"Almost finished filming Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in Atlanta!! One more day to go," Bautista had wrote in a social media post.
Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Vin Diesel (Groot), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Sean Gunn (Kraglin/On-Set Rocket) and Michael Rooker (Yondu) are set to return on the big screen. As of now there are numerous speculations regarding the plot of the movie, but only trailers would provide fans with actual updates and it remains to be seen what the director has planned for SDCC.
Guardians Of The Galaxy 2, is scheduled to premiere on 5 May 2017.
