Hannibal season 3 premiere: Lecter and Bedelia's murderous journey continues in Antipasto

Hannibal season 3 returns on NBC Network to offer a glance at another exciting and gory journey of Lecter and his psychiatrist Bedelia.

In the premiere episode of the super-hit psycho thriller titled Antipasto, the serial killer psychiatrist adopts a new identity and escapes to Europe with his doctor.

The couple pose as husband and wife, and as shown in the promo, they invite their first guest for dinner in order to satisfy their urge to kill.

The official synopsis of the premiere episode reads: "Having successfully escaped FBI capture, Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving through the European landscape, with Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) in tow. But Dr Lecter's old habits and opulent tastes are still on display as he settles into a new identity and life in Florence, Italy, working at the Palazzo Capponi museum. Glimpses into the past help inform his relationship with Bedelia, a pairing not clearly defined as friend or foe."

In the season 2 finale, Lecter fatally stabs FBI agent Will Graham after which the duo flee to Europe and live in contemporary Florentine society.

Graham, meanwhile, will recuperate, follow the tracks of his attacker and travel to Europe to arrest the murderous couple.
