Hayden Panettiere opens up on Wladimir Klitschko split rumours: Says 'missing rings don't mean end of relationships'
'Missing rings don't mean the end of relationships,' says actress.
American actress Hayden Panettiere took to social media and rubbished rumours about her split from fiancé Wladimir Klitschko. While in New York recently, the 26-year-old was pictured without her engagement ring, which sparked relationship trouble rumours.
The Nashville star and the professional boxer got engaged in October 2013 and have a daughter named Kaya Evdokia Klitschko, who they welcomed in December 2014.
On Thursday (7 July) the actress shared a black and white photo of her family on Twitter.
"Missing rings don't mean the end of relationships. Blessed to be with my beautiful family," she captioned the image.
In May 2016, Panettiere had revealed that she was suffering from post-partum depression. The actress had shared on Twitter: "The postpartum depression I have been experiencing has impacted every aspect of my life. Rather than stay stuck due to unhealthy coping mechanisms I have chosen to take time to reflect holistically on my health and life. Wish me luck!"
In October 2015, Panettiere checked into a rehab clinic to seek professional help for her depression. Later in January, at the Critics' Choice Awards, she told Entertainment Tonight that she was "surprised" by the "incredible amount of support" she received after she opened up about her condition.
"I've gotten an incredible amount of support and I was actually really surprised cause I feel like I grew up in this industry that, in my mind, was very judgmental," Panettiere said and added, "I didn't even look at social media.
"Then, when I looked, people were like, 'Oh my gosh, good for you,' and I am so proud to be a spokesperson and a woman that people can look to and to know that they're not alone and they're not weak if they go and they seek help."
