Holly Valance has given the world the first glimpse of her engagement ring following the recent proposal that she received from her billionaire fiancé, Nick Candy.

The 28-year-old Australian singer and actress showed off her impressive rock at the Radio Times party in London.

Dressed in a gold dress and sequined shoes, she appeared to have coordinated her glamorous outfit with her latest accessory, a sizeable diamond on her left hand.

The couple, who started dating in late 2009, became engaged after property tycoon Candy popped the question on a beach in the Maldives days before Christmas.

While Valance was initially spotted in London without an engagement ring on her return from holiday, she was more than happy to show it off at the event.

A diamond that size should come with a warning to exercise caution when lifting, though, in the world of celebrity, bigger is always better.
