Hollywood Film Awards 2014: Robert Pattinson Avoided Kristen Stewart at Event to Show his Commitment to FKA Twigs
Robert Pattinson reportedly avoided former girlfriend Kristen Stewart at the Hollywood Film Awards 2014 to show FKA Twigs that he is serious about his relationship with her.
At the event, the 28-year-old actor presented the award for Best Director to filmmaker Morten Tyldum for his work on The Imitation Game, meanwhile, the 24-year-old actress came to support her movie Still Alice.
"He just didn't want to have any awkward encounters with Kristen at the Hollywood Film Awards," a source told Hollywood Life. "He was uptight the whole night and just wanted to get back home as soon as he could."
"Avoiding Kristen was his way of showing Tahliah [FKA] how committed he is to her, that he only has eyes for her and is completely over Kristen," the insider continued. "He acted this way for Tahliah."
In 2012, Pattinson ended his relationship with Stewart, his Twilight co-star and girlfriend of four years, after it was confirmed that she cheated on him with British director Rupert Sanders.
Stewart and Sanders, who worked together on Snow White And The Huntsman, were photographed kissing in the Hollywood hills.
Pattinson and Stewart were reunited for the promotion of the final premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2, the hugely successful vampire-themed fantasy film franchise.
The Remember Me actor and the 26-year-old singer, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, started dating in August.
At the Mercury Music Prize Awards, Twigs was asked how her relationship with Pattinson was going, to which she replied: "Very good, thanks."
