Huge drone crashes over London crowd during Muse gig at the O2
A large drone has crashed over the crowd during a Muse gig in London. The Devon band were playing London's O2 arena on 14 April, when the prop started to lower onto the crowd, causing technical crew to scramble to get it out of the venue.
Muse are touring their latest album 'Drones' and have the flying objects circle the arena during a performance of their song 'The Globalist'. However, as this Instagram video from James Hatherill shows, this did not go to plan.
The band were performing as part of their four day residency at the venue. Lead singer Matt Bellamy is reportedly fascinated with drones, and has even invested in drone racing in the UK.
