Pakistan had a good start to the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 as they defeated Bangladesh Getty

Pakistan started the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 campaign in style as they registered a 55 runs victory over Bangladesh. Mashrafe Mortaza's side did not have any chance of winning the game as their poor bowling display, coupled by inconsistent batting led to their defeat in Group 2 clash at the Eden Gardens on 16 March.

The Tigers were considered as at the favourites before the start of the clash. However, Pakistan batsmen and bowlers made sure Bangladesh had no chance of making a comeback into the game. Shahid Afridi was the star man with both bat and ball as he scored 49 runs and picked up two wickets in their latest win.
