After a crushing defeat at the hands of debutant franchise Rising Pune Supergiants, the Mumbai Indians will be out to bounce back against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens on 13 April.
Rohit Sharma's side were restricted to just 121 batting first at the Wankhede Stadium against Pune, who chased down the target with 32 balls to spare. The defending champions are placed at 11/10 by Betfair to get their campaign back on track with a win at Eden Gardens.
Kolkata are riding high after demolishing Delhi Daredevils by nine wickets at home in their opening match on 10 April. The two-time winners are 4/5 to make it two wins out of two.
Sharma fell for 7 against Pune following a less-than-impressive showing in the World T20 for India, but is 12/5 to top score with the bat for the visitors. West Indies batsman Lendl Simmons is at 16/5, while Jos Buttler and Ambati Rayudu are both evenly-priced at 5/1.
Kolkata skipper Gautam Gambhir scored an unbeaten 38 to take his team to victory against Delhi and is 12/5 to top the run charts, the same as Robin Uthappa. Manish Pandey is priced at 9/2, while New Zealand batsman Colin Munro is at 5/1.
