Jennifer Aniston 'feels sorry' for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's children amid divorce drama
Aniston was married to Brad Pitt for five years until 2005.
Ever since news broke of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's divorce, the internet has been rife with speculation and memes related to Pitt's previous relationship with Jennifer Aniston. So much so that a report even claimed that the Friends actress has called time on her one-year marriage with Justin Theroux.
However, the tall claims made by the magazine were rebutted by Aniston's representative and a latest report has shed further light on the situation, saying that Aniston has "moved on with her life" and she wants to be "left out of" the Brangelina divorce drama. She is also believed to be feeling sorry for the six children of Jolie and Pitt.
HollywoodLife quoted a source as saying, "Jennifer wants to be left out of this, she has moved on with her life, it's like does she really have to go through this all over again?"
Sharing some insight into the controversy surrounding Pitt, Jolie and Aniston, a source told the gossip website, "It's ridiculous to [Jennifer] that people think she'd be celebrating. She's not, she feels sorry for those kids."
The source continued, "She knows how awful a divorce is. Her parents divorced and it was devastating for her, she wouldn't wish that on Brad's kids."
Following the news of the high-profile divorce, social media was abuzz with posts related to the trio. The 47-year-old actress, who was married to Pitt until 2005, even became the subject of a New York Post cover, which featured a hysterical Aniston along with the caption, "Brangelina: 2004 - 2016".
But, if rumours are to be believed, the Mother's Day actress seems to be taking the news about Pitt and Jolie with dignity. "Her phone has been blowing up with friends wanting to trash Brad, but she is taking it all in stride," a source told the celebrity gossip site adding, "She is taking the high road and not saying too much about it to anyone. Her life is good and her day has been otherwise typical and relaxing."
