Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux married: Brad Pitt's reaction revealed

American actor/producer Brad Pitt is happy that former wife Jennifer Aniston, tied the knot with Justin Theroux.

It was previously reported that the 46-year-old former Friends star and the 43-year-old actor exchanged vows in a secret ceremony at their $22m Bel Air mansion on 5 August.

"Brad is really happy for Jen. He still loves her and cares for her and always hoped she would find love again," a source told Hollywood Life. "He knows Justin too and thinks he's a great dude. When he fell in love with Angie he felt bad for Jen but he had to follow his heart."

Aniston and Theroux announced their engagement in August 2012 after dating for 15 months.

During an interview with Australia's TV Week magazine, Theroux revealed that there is a lot of pressure from the public on getting married.

"There is this hum of pressure that - I can't stress enough - I just don't pay any attention to," Theroux said.

"But I am not going to let a tabloid tell me what to do. ...I'm not going to watch them tap their watch. What the hell are you telling me to do?

"We're just doing our own thing. We are completely happy, obviously, but we're not on anyone else's time frame," he added.

Though there were reports that the couple's relationship is on shaky grounds, the two have ignored rumours and are still going strong with their romance.

"I commend him for his courage. This is not normal for him. He's so graceful and utterly kind and golden," Aniston told Women's Wear Daily.

"It is amazing. He's just so beautiful and handsome to me, and I love that his eyeballs are so beautifully captured because those eyes just knock me out every day," she went on. "He just gets better every year. He's just like a lost gem in the sand, and he's just always been there and been brilliant, and now this is just in a different light."
