Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin: Hunger Games star moves into Coldplay frontman's Malibu beach home

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly moved into rumoured boyfriend Chris Martin's Malibu beach home.

According to Closer magazine, the 24-year-old Hunger Games star is planning to stay with the 37-year-old Coldplay frontman till her house renovation works are completed.

"Jen moved into Chris' pad last month while she's having building work done to her house. It was very much Chris who pushed for the move as Jen was hesitant that it might be too soon," a source said.

"He sees the building work as the perfect excuse to prove to her he's moved on from his marriage. She's expected to be there for around three months and it's a huge step for the pair," the insider added.

Lawrence and Martin started spending time together since June last year, after she broke up with her on-off boyfriend and fellow actor Nicholas Hoult.

The two reportedly split in September, but were spotted together enjoying a dinner date at Kiwami Sushi in Studio City on New Year's Eve in 2014.

As earlier reported, Lawrence and Martin had split because of his estranged wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Iron Man actress had announced that she was separating from her husband in March 2014, after being together for ten years and bringing up two children named Apple and Moses.

However, the 41-year-old Shakespeare In Love actress recently admitted that she wished she had given a second chance to her marriage with Martin.

"There are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want. But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close," she told Harper's Bazaar UK.
