Jessa Duggar childbirth could happen any moment? Former reality star reveals baby name ahead of due date
Jessa Duggar is ready to welcome baby Seewald any moment as her pregnancy is now full-term. The baby is due on 1 November but a recent report reveals that the former 19 Kids And Counting star may soon go into labour.
The mother-to-be has cancelled her appearance at the Southern Women's Show scheduled for 17 October due to 'unforseen circumstances' and has asked younger sister Jinger and brother Josiah to fill in for her at the show. "Due to unforseen circumstances, Jessa Duggar Seewald is unable to attend the Southern Women's Show on Saturday, October 17. Appearing in her absence will be siblings Jinger and Josiah Duggar," the Show's website said writing about the last-minute cancellation of the 22-year-old's appearance at the event.
The Seewalds, however, have revealed their baby's name through the Duggar Family Blog. However, Jessa also made it clear that their family is still unaware of the baby's gender.
"Ben and I had an ultrasound at 19 weeks to find out our baby's gender. Ben was okay with keeping it a surprise, but I just couldn't wait. I had to know! We decided at that point that we would keep it to ourselves and let it be a surprise for the rest of the Seewald and Duggar extended families when the baby is born. So far we haven't told anyone...but I didn't expect it to be so difficult to keep a secret. I always want to use pronouns like "he/she" in conversation but have had to focus on saying "the baby" instead. We're so looking forward to baby's birth and the big reveal."
The couple have given a gender neutral nickname to their soon-to-be-born baby. "When we first found out that we were expecting a baby, Ben and I were talking about a letter theme for our kids and Ben suggested, 'Why don't we go with the letter 'Q'?' Of course that was a joke, but from that point, Ben started calling our little one Quincy, and the nickname just sorta stuck," the reality star said during her family interview.
Jessa and Ben got married at a lavish ceremony on 1 November 2014 and are expecting their first baby on their first wedding anniversary. The couple have defied their family's tradition of revealing the baby's gender before the birth.
A few weeks back they had asked their fans to take part in a poll to guess their baby's gender. 58,350 people thought that Ben and Jessa are expecting a girl while 23,158 fans think it's a boy. 17,999 believe that the couple are expecting boy/girl twins and 8,608 people are guessing they are expecting twin girls.
