Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson Tie Knot in California

Jessica Simpson and former NFL player Eric Johnson are finally married.

The couple tied the knot at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California on 5 July, in front of family and friends, including Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross, CaCee Cobb, Donald Faison, Jessica Alba, and Cash Warren.

"We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment. To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives," the couple told People in a statement.

The 32-year-old With You singer and Johnson got engaged in 2010, after dating for less than a year. The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Maxwell, and a one-year-old son named Ace.

Six months after welcoming Maxwell on 1 May, 2012, it was revealed that Jessica was expecting again. The couple reportedly had to cancel their nuptials twice due to her pregnancies.

"I already feel like we're an old married couple," Simpson told Good Morning America earlier this year. "Like, if he wanted to run, he could've run when I was hormonal and pregnant."

This is the second marriage for both. Jessica was previously married to singer Nick Lachey, and the two co-starred on a VH1 reality series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica for three seasons. Johnson divorced from stylist Keri Johnson after five years of marriage in October 2010.
