Drew Barrymore, Liz Taylor, Marilyn Monroe: Stars who Have Converted to Judaism [SLIDESHOW]
Just weeks after she announced her engagement to Will Kopelman, Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore is reportedly planning to covert to Judaism for her new fiancé.
Reports say that the 36-year-old former child star, wants to convert to the Jewish faith ahead of her and her future husband's traditional Jewish wedding ceremony later this year.
The Catholic actress has also told the Kopelmans, who are practicing Jews, that she intends on raising want their children Jewish, Touch magazine reports.
According to an insider, Barrymore, who has previously been married twice, has enlisted the help of her favourite co-star and close friend Adam Sandler to helping her with the "process of converting to Judaism"
A source close to the two bubbly pals said: "Those two absolutely adore each other, so it only made sense to Drew that he will be right by her side playing an important role at her wedding,"
The bride-to-be accepted her art consultant fiancé's marriage proposal after he got down on one knee and presented her with a stunning colourless radiant-cut diamond in Sun Valley, Idaho, in December last year.
Barrymore was previously married to Jeremy Thomas in 1994 when she was 19 but it wasn't to last and the marriage ended just a month later. In 2001, she tied the knot with comedian Tom Green, but that marriage suffered a similar fate and only lasted five months.
