Jonas Brothers make it up for a teen who couldn't attend their concert
The 16-year-old couldn't make it to the concert as she underwent chemo, so the Jonas' went to meet her at the hospital and made her life.
Lily Jordan, 16, is just another fan of the Jonas Brothers. She had made plans to watch the trio perform live as part of their Happiness Begins Tour at Hershey Park Stadium on Saturday. However, she had to drop her plans because she underwent chemotherapy. Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas paid her a surprise visit at the local hospital to cheer her up and fulfill her wish of meeting them.
Lily Jordan was all set to attend the Hershey Park stadium performance of the Jonas Brothers. However, she was not well. But, instead of being sad and fretting, she decided share a message for the brothers on Instagram.
Jordan posted an Instagram story to let her followers know that she couldn't make it to the Jonas Brothers performance on Saturday night. "I was supposed to be at your Hershey concert tomorrow but instead I'm across the street doing chemo, If y'all wanted to pop in I'll give you my room number."
She requested her followers to share the story and tag the post so that her message could reach them. Since then the hashtag, #LilySeesTheJonasBrothersChallenge2019 went viral. It was also shared by Pennsylvania Representative Scott Perry.
"PRAYERS NEEDED! Our good friend Lily is fighting for her life in Hershey tonight, and so badly wanted to see the Jonas Brothers tomorrow night at Hersheypark, but can't because of her urgent treatment. If there is anyway for them to visit her, we are lifting up her hopes and our prayers for help," Perry wrote in a Facebook post, according to People. He also mentioned her Instagram handle to help spread the word.
All these attempts didn't go in vain as the trio stopped by the Penn State Children's Hospital ahead of their concert. Joe said they had to come and meet her after seeing her messages. "It went everywhere, my entire feed was filled," said Kevin.
Nick asked Lily if she had any favourite song which they could play at the concert. She picked "S.O.S". Kevin was quick to reply "Done". Nick's wife Priyanka Chopra also accompanied them to the hospital. They also clicked pictures with her. Milton S. Hershey Medical Centre shared the wonderful video of the trio visiting her on their Facebook page.
Jordan is not only a fan of the Jonas Brothers but also huge Game of Thrones (GOT) fan. She gave Joe a handmade bracelet from her wrist and requested him to pass it on to his wife Sophie Turner, who played Sansa Stark in GOT.
Later, the teenager took to Instagram to share the group picture she took with Jonas Brothers. "Wow. The power of social media you guys. YOU did this. YOU made my crappy chemo session into something incredibly special and unforgettable," she captioned. Jordan thanked the brothers for taking time out, visiting her and making her life.
