Karrueche Tran after Chris Brown split: 'I have no problem with Rihanna'

They were famously involved in a love triangle with Chris Brown but Karrauche Tran has insisted that she has no problem with Rihanna.

Speaking to radio personality Big Boy during an appearance on Real 92.3, the 27-year-old budding actress insisted that despite the rumours there was no bad blood between her the Diamonds hitmaker.

"No, we just dated the same guy. It's always like a competition thing and they compare us," she said.

"She is Rihanna, she's a pop star, she's beautiful, she makes great music. And I'm just me. I'm growing and working into myself. You can't really compare us because we're two completely different girls."

In March, Tran ended her on and off five-year relationship with Brown after finding out that he had fathered a baby girl with another woman.

"When it [the baby news] hit TMZ I was like: 'Oh, ok.' I called him, I cussed him out and I was like [wipes hands].

"Because after the whole Rihanna thing it been like a year or whatever where we've been trying to fix what was broken and that was just the icing on the cake so I just had to completely pull away."

Her comments come hours after she angered Brown's fans by sharing a selfie of her with a busted lip captioned a "Rough day in Chicago".

Although it was later revealed that Tran was referring to a photo shoot in which she was playing a street fighter, and the injury was just make-up, it didn't stop fans speculating that she may have been in an altercation with Brown.

In 2009 Brown was convicted of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy bash. Although the former lovers reconciled several times since the highly publicised incident they called time on their turbulent romance finally in 2013.

One Brown supporter said: "Bro, I can promise you Chris Brown ain't dumb enough to do no s**t like this again. Leave the homie out this s**t."

Another pointed out: "Now why would u even post this knowing people going to speculate, be dumb and talk s**t cuz of Chris past.. looking for attention, stop acting so hurt and move on"
