Kate Middleton continues to dazzle fashion watchers at London 2012. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted cheering on Team GB's Rebecca Adlington at the women's 800m freestyle final at the Aquatics Centre on Friday. The Duchess was wearing a polka dot top and a vibrant red blazer, complete with her signature hair-do - blow-dried tresses let down and loose. The Duchess was earlier seen in a sportier look, with a pony tail, while attending track cycling events at the Velodrome.
She was accompanied to the Aquatics Centre by Prince William. Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, were also in attendance. The royal family's presence did not, unfortunately, inspire a win for the hosts, as American teenager Katie Ledecky took the gold medal, setting a new American record in the process.
Kate Middleton has risen to the Olympic challenge with frequent changes of wardrobe, opting for three different dresses for three events on the same day: the normally thrifty Duchess has often been content to wear one dress for a whole day.
Before her appearance at the Aquatics Centre, Kate was seen in a navy blue Team GB outfit, watching on as Great Britain played Pakistan in a men's hockey game at the Riverbank Arena Hockey Centre - the same pitch Catherine played on with the team during a training session.
The Duchess was a hockey player at school and looked completely at ease in casual Team GB fleece, which she wore over a pair of navy blue skinny jeans. The look was completed with a pair of wedges.
