Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom post first couple photo on Instagram

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom made their relationship Instagram official as the Firework singer posted their first couple picture on the popular picture sharing site. The hilarious picture captured the singer-actor couple sprawled out on the front steps of the Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc in Cannes.

Interestingly, 31-year-old Perry captioned the picture with a pun, "we cannes't," alluding to the venue probably.

Perry posted the first photo of her and Bloom on her Instagram account on Friday night. The couple looked adorable in their colour-coordinated white robes in the picture.

The hilarious yet in-a-way romantic couple post comes after Thursday night's amfAR Cannes Cinema Against AIDS gala, where Perry and Bloom maintained a distance from each other. At the event, which saw the Roar singer performing, Perry and Bloom were photographed sitting at close but separate tables. According to a report in the US Weekly, "Perry seemed opposed to taking pictures with her beau, although the duo chatted while eating their meals at adjacent tables."

However, the after-party saw a quick change of scene, as the duo seemed "super lovey-dovey the whole night." An onlooker at Richie Akiva's amfAR after-party told People, "They were kissing and holding hands and dancing together the entire time."

Referring to the earlier controversy surrounding Selena Gomez, the onlooker also claimed, "If anything dramatic happened earlier this month, you definitely couldn't tell. They looked like they couldn't be happier."

Perry and Bloom first sparked dating rumours when they were spotted together at the 2016 Golden Globes after-party. Ever since, they have been making couple appearances every once in a while, the last one being aboard a yacht in Cannes.
