Katy Perry sides with Rihanna amid Taylor Swift and Drake dating rumours- report

Rihanna has a friend to help her get through the dating rumours surrounding Drake and Taylor Swift. Katy Perry has the Diamonds singer's back, according to a report in Hollywood Life.

Perry has been talking to her friend Rihanna about Drake and Swift chemistry at the rapper's birthday party. A source told the website "Rihanna wanted to get all the tea from Drake's party and Katy was the one to give it to her. She assured Rih [Rihanna] that Drake was so not into Taylor and that Taylor didn't even look that good, despite what the blogs and people were saying on social media."

The Roar singer is reportedly comforting Rihanna by poking fun at Swift. The insider continued, "Katy was laughing at Taylor and told Rih that [she] looked like a robot that was short of many fuses when she was dancing at the party. They both got a huge chuckle out of that. Katy assured Rih that Tay Tay was not the life of the party."

This news comes after Swift and Drake were reportedly spotted getting cozy at the One Dance singer's 30th birthday party. The bash was held at Delilah restaurant in West Hollywood, California on 23 October. "Drake was cozy with Taylor [Swift] all night long. They were all up on each other — no kissing — but touching each and other and cheeking," a source told HollywoodLife.

"It really means a lot to me, everybody being here. The support that you give, night in and night out for the team that's with me every day ...," Drake told the crowd in an Instagram video from the party.

Drake and Rihanna split just a month after he proclaimed his love for the Work hit-maker. A source previously told Us Weekly, "She doesn't want to be held down,. They will always be close. If they end up together, it could happen, but not now."
