Tom Cruise dating a British woman? Actor is reportedly 'serious about this relationship'

Tom Cruise has been reportedly dating a British woman for several months and things are getting serious between the two, according to a report in US Weekly. This is the Mission Impossible actor's first serious relationship following his high-profile divorce from Katie Holmes in 2012.

The magazine claimed that Cruise charmed the unnamed woman with a date to Bourton-on-the-Water — an idyllic village in the Cotswolds, two hours outside the city –while he was in London filming The Mummy in early June. The actor has reportedly been smitten by her.

The source described Cruise's new lady as "very normal and pretty" and that she has been bunking with the Jack Reacher: Never Go Back star at his rental cottage on the outskirts of London. "There, they go on bike rides through the countryside. Sometimes Tom's sister would join them," the source added.

According to the insider, the 54-year-old actor is eager to make this romance last. "He's serious about this relationship and wants to make it work. Tom wants some companionship."

Cruise was married to Mimi Rogers (from 1987–1990) and then to Nicole Kidman (from 1990–2001) and then Katie Holmes (2006–2012). Tom shares daughter Suri from their five-year-long marriage to Holmes. The actor is also the father of two adopted children – Isabella and Conor with ex-wife Kidman.

Previously, Tom Cruise opened up about his devotion to Scientology and called it a "beautiful Religion." Chatting with ITV News at the London premiere of his latest film, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, the actor said, "Its something that has helped me incredibly in my life; I've been a Scientologist for over 30 years. It's something, you know, without it, I wouldn't be where I am. So it's a beautiful religion. I'm incredibly proud.
