Khloe Kardashian and James Harden dating: Reality star throws yacht birthday party for NBA player boyfriend

The romance between Khloe Kardashian and James Harden is well and truly hotting up. The E! reality star threw her NBA player beau a lavish party to celebrate his 26th and, of course, her famous family came out in force for the festivities.

Hours before his big day on 26 August, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star gathered the Houston Rockets player's friends and family to party on a rented yacht which sailed along the Marina del Rey, California. Among the guests in attendance at the all-white themed bash were Kardashian's youngest half-sister Kylie Jenner with her boyfriend Tyga and older sister Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West.

The plush evening was rounded off with an incredible 15-minute fireworks display but not everyone was wowed by the extravagance as TMZ reports local residents were woken up by the noise. Although the party had obtained a permit for the fireworks, law enforcement officers reportedly admitted they were not expecting such a huge display for a non-holiday.

Moments from the party were documented throughout the night by Jenner, 18, who shared snippets on her Snapchat account. One video appears to show guests singing Harden a happy birthday chorus while Kardashian can be seen messing around as the group travelled to the boat on a party bus. Kardashian, 31, and Harden were last pictured together in Houston, Texas where they were seen picking up food from a Chipotle restaurant.

The couple are believed to have begun dating in July 2015 after being seen partying together in Los Angeles. It appears to be Kardashian's first relationship since ending her romance with rapper French Montana earlier in the year. The yacht party also comes after she was allegedly verbally attacked by her ex-husband Lamar Odom as she was exiting a SoulCycle gym in Beverly Hills.
