Vegas Showdown: Kanye West's Concert to Clash with Kim's Birthday

American reality star Kim Kardashian's birthday party clashes with her beau Kanye West's concert. Kardashian turns 33 on 21 October and she has a party planned in Las Vegas. West will have his gig at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Meanwhile, West has stated that he will never marry Kardashian. "Kanye is telling friends that he'll never marry Kim. He has no need or desire to make their relationship official in the eyes of the law," a source close to West stated. He has apparently also informed her of the same.

"Kanye prefers the idea of them as 'partners'. He sees marriage as outdated and he's all about embracing the modern and the new. He doesn't feel like he has to marry Kim just because they have a daughter together," the source added.

Reports also suggest that Kardashian herself is not very interested in walking down the aisle after her divorce with Kris Humphries.

West has also reportedly banned Kardashian from major cosmetic procedures. According to a Radar Online report, this issue came up when Kardashian planned to have a tummy tuck right after the birth of their daughter North West in June.

"Kim was certain that she wanted to have surgery after giving birth because she wanted a head start on losing her baby weight. But when West got wind of her plans, he really flipped out," sources stated.

West lost his mother Donda West due to complications from a cosmetic procedure. She died in 2007 aged 58 following complications from liposuction and breast-reduction surgery.

"Kanye told Kim in no uncertain terms that she needed to put her baby and her life first. He got pretty emotional because he really didn't want her going through that kind of major surgery. He's still traumatised from his mum's death," the source added.

He apparently told Kardashian that the surgery ban is a condition of being with him.
