Kim and Kanye to Have One of the Most Lavish Celebrity Weddings in History?

American reality star Kim Kardashian and her rapper fiancé Kanye West are reportedly all set to have their wedding at the Palace of Versailles in France.

The 33-year-old reality star has been married twice already. However, this is the first marriage for 36-year-old West and apparently he is ready to go all out for it. The couple are not working within a budget.

West proposed to Kardashian with a gigantic "floating" diamond ring, which reportedly set West back $7m to $8m. It came from world famous jeweller Lorraine Schwartz.

Forevermark Diamond expert Adelaide Polk-Bauman said: "This is exceptionally rare. Very few places in the world have diamonds such as that."

In addition, the rent of the entire AT and T Field, where the proposal took place, starts at a whopping $220,000: that's not counting the musicians who serenaded the lovebirds from the outfield.

West first asked permission from the Kardashian family matriarch, Kris Jenner, before he went ahead with the surprise proposal.

"I have never loved any girl, other than my mother, as much as I love my girlfriend," he confessed during an interview with San Francisco radio station KMEL.
