Lady Gaga turns heads on the catwalk at Marc Jacobs show
Lady Gaga is no stranger to high fashion and is known to experiment, whether its meat dresses, dramatic headgear or hoof boots. So it came as no surprise that the singer was invited to walk the ramp for friend and fashion designer Marc Jacobs.
Sporting an oversized trench coat with fur detailing, sky-high platform boots and deconstructed flapper-style hair and makeup, Gaga held her own among taller models including Kendall Jenner at the designer's fall/winter 2016 show at the New York Fashion Week.
She posted images of the backstage process on Instagram detailing the makeup and hair styling done to create the dark glam look – black lips and eye liner to contrast her platinum blonde hair.
Prior to the event, the Judas singer also uploaded Snapchat videos of her working out in her underwear as part of her preparations for the show.
Marc Jacobs has worked on a number of red carpet looks for Gaga, including the heavily embellished blue gown she wore to the Grammys on 15 February and the sequined white suit she donned for her David Bowie tribute performance, the same night.
Kanye West, HAIM and the A$AP Mob are among other music artists who have made recent appearances on the runway for popular designers.
