Lewis Hamilton and Gigi Hadid dating? Formula One ace and model 'been on a couple of dates'

Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton and American model Gigi Hadid have sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together at the amfAR's 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Gala, at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on 21 May in Cap d'Antibes, France.

The 30-year-old, who previously dated American recording artist/actress Nicole Scherzinger, was with the 20-year-old supermodel and the two got cosy as they posed for pictures together.

"They've been on a couple of dates. It's on!" a source told Daily Mail.

This comes weeks after Hadid announced her split from boyfriend Cody Simpson.

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career," her spokesperson said in a statement to E! News. "They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future. They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters."

Meanwhile, in February, the former Pussycat Doll broke up with the BBC Sports Personality of the Year after she was reportedly tired of his refusal to commit.

"I'm devastated that it didn't work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together," the former X Factor judge told The Sun at that time.

"I love Lewis and I know he loves me. We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I'm trying to stay strong in my faith right now," Scherzinger added.
