The last time Lindsay Lohan posed in front on a camera it was in her birthday suit and for photos that made headlines across the globe.

But now the 25-year-old embattled actress has decided to go for the classier approach and keep her clothes on for her new high-fashion photo-shoot.

Following on from the success of her infamous Playboy spread, the star seems to have another career win on her hands as the face for German designer Philipp Plein's new advertising campaign.

In the glamorous yet sexy new images, the Mean Girls star shows of her designer flair whilst posing in various opulent outfits.

In one picture she shows off her slim legs dressed in a short red leather jacket and spiky heels and shorts combo.

Whilst in another image she does grown-up glamour in covers up in floor- length dress slashed to the thigh.

Lohan looks effortlessly stunning with her subtle make-up and bleached blonde hair tumbling in loose waves down her shoulders.

The former child star shot the advertising campaign as part of a professional collaboration with the designer last September in Italy, while in town for Milan Fashion Week.

Plein, who was once romantically linked to the star: "Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model. We will be able to create unique images: refined and luxurious, but also full of sensuality."
