Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson shared a bare-faced selfie on Instagram not long after sharing her experiences of being body-shamed in an older post.

Nelson admitted to being a victim of cyberbullying and said in her post, ''6 months ago this girl was someone I just wanted to forget. I wanted to erase her from my mind and everyone else's memory. 'I didn't see her as Jesy I saw her as "the fat one from Little Mix". She continued, "Up until now I hated her not because she'd ever done anything bad but because I was made to hate her by endless amounts of trolling."

She opened up about her feeling to her 5.4 million followers. She was filming a documentary with BBCone and BBCthree about how social media trolling creates pressure on young girls.

She wrote, 'Since filming my documentary for @bbcone and @bbcthree I've learned so much more than I ever expected to. Thanks to all the inspirational people I've met on this emotional journey, I now love the girl in this photo."

She even guided her fans on talking to their near and dear ones if they are facing issues, she said, "I've made this documentary for 2011 Jesy and for anyone who might be feeling like she did. I refused to speak about how I was feeling for so long. I was embarrassed and scared too. But I was so wrong to feel that way. 'Please if you are feeling how I did, SPEAK ABOUT IT. Talk to your family, speak to your friends, there's always help out there."

Chris Hughes, her boyfriend, was the first to comment on her post, "That's my favourite Jesy, she's a princess."

She revealed that when started off the band they did it with a little make-up or foundation but as they became more prominent figures, they were caked with make-up to look much older than their age. In fact, the singer went on to the extent saying that they looked 'tacky and cheap'. But all that is in the past now. Nelson ended her post saying, "Now when I look in the mirror, I don't see Jesy the fat one, I see Jesy the happy one!"
