Lumia Cyan Pushed Out for More Developer Preview Devices on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1
Microsoft has confirmed the rollout of Lumia Cyan update for another chunk of Windows Phone devices running Preview for Developers.
The update was previously available for a few devices, including Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520 on AT&T, Lumia 920 on T-Mobile and Lumia 1520 UK variant.
Now Mike Mongeau, forum moderator at Answer Microsoft have announced the release for several other Developer Preview devices running Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1. Below is the posting at the forum for the availability of the Lumia Cyan update.
Hey everyone, as an extension to Eli's previous posts, I want to continue shedding any additional clarity on the situation that I can. We do listen, and we do care.
So, first things first: today we're releasing the Lumia Cyan update for another chunk of Preview for Developer devices. We'll be closely monitoring the success of this update on those phones. So, let us know if you are offered the update and if you have any issues!
If all goes well, expect broader communication for the availability of even more phones (lots more!) over the next few days. Thanks for holding tight folks -- we're almost there."
Microsoft's Joe Belfiore has previously confirmed via Twitter that some update will be pushed to devices running Developer Preview version. It addresses error 80188308, which stopped Developers Preview devices from getting GDR1, HTC support for GDR1 and Lumia Cyan ramp-up.
