We all know that children grow up pretty quickly, but it seems that President Obama's daughter Malia has been doing some growing up of her own during her father's time in office.
The 13-year-old has experienced what can only be described as a growth spurt since her father took office and now stands almost as tall as her 5ft 10in mother, Michelle.
Malia, the couple's elder daughter, is definitely taking after her tall parents and now towers over most children her age, even when wearing flat shoes.
Although the president describes her as "my baby", it might not be long before she catches up with her father, who is 6ft 1in tall.
