Overview
Manchester City welcome Sheffield Wednesday to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a clash that is a repeat of the Capital One Cup clash earlier in the season.
The Owls will be looking to avenge their 7-0 defeat at the hands of their English champions, but are aware that it is a tough task to beat City on their home turf.
Manuel Pellegrini's men come into this game on the back of a 11-game unbeaten streak and will hope to continue, as the manager has stated that his team needs a good cup run after disappointments in recent seasons. The Etihad Stadium outfit have failed to progress past the fifth round since winning the trophy in 2011.
Meanwhile, Stuart Gray's men will come into the game without fear and look to take the game away from the Premier League team. However, they are without a few key players, who have been injured or have left following the completion of their loan.
What managers say
Manuel Pellegrini: "It has been a difficult moment because we played three games in a week, very important games in the Premier League. We had to play for nine points in one week but we have finished that and now we must think about Sheffield Wednesday. This year we are eliminated from the Capital One so we will try to continue in the FA Cup as far as we can."
Stuart Gray: "We know what they are capable of; we know what they can do to teams. What we have to do is go there with no fear and remember how we did well in the first half. There is no fear of the unknown this time; we know the stadium, the pitch, and we want to give our supporters something to cheer."
