Micromax YU Yureka to be available for purchase online without pre-registration on 6 and 7 May 2015

Micromax's YU Yureka, which was recently seeded the Google Android 5.0 (Lollipop) based CyanogenMod CM12S OS update, will be available on 6 and & Ma 2015 for direct purchase on Amazon.in.

As per an official tweet by Micromax, prospective buyers of the Yureka can purchase the smartphone without having to register to participate in the online sale in advance.

The device, according to YU, will be available throughout 6 and 7 May and there will be no timing restrictions.

Micromax has priced the mid-range smartphone at £93 ($141, INR 9,000).

The device will be available on the official Indian site of Amazon and will be shipped to potential buyers in the US and UK.

The smartphone competes with similar-range smartphones such as the recently released Xiaomi Mi 4i and the Asus Zenfone 2 (smartphone series).
