Microsoft Lumia 950 and 950 XL may feature wireless charging, Iris Scanner
Technology giant Microsoft that had earlier confirmed it would be releasing new high-end Lumia smartphones to cater to the flagship user segment, is expected to launch the Lumia 950/Lumia 950 XL featuring top-end technical specs.
Rumours have hinted that the Lumia 950 and 950 XL could feature the USB Type-C support, while incorporating the powerful 3,300mAh battery (in 950 XL).
Now, more technical specs uniform to both the devices have surfaced via Windows Central, according to which the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are said to be codenamed "Talkman" and "Cityman" respectively.
Windows Central states that Cityman will feature wireless charging capabilities and an Iris Scanner.
The latest report also states that this handset will also feature a 20MP rear camera; thus adding substance to earlier reports that had hinted at such a possibility.
Moreover, the 950 XL could feature aluminium side volume/power control buttons.

Both the handsets are likely to run Windows 10 Mobile, which is slated to be launched in September, post the launch of the PC version of Windows 10.
