Miley Cyrus back with Liam Hemsworth? Former couple 'spotted hanging out'

Miley Cyrus has reignited speculation that she may be reconciling with former fiancé Liam Hemsworth after the couple were spotting hanging out in recent weeks.

According to Us Weekly, the pop star, who recently called time on her five month long romance with Patrick Schwarzenegger, has been finding comfort in her ex.

"They've been hanging out in LA, but only a few people know," a source close to the actor tells Us Weekly "Dating could definitely happen."

The Wrecking Ball singer and the Australian heartthrob, who met on the set of their 2010 movie The Last Song, got engaged back in 2012 after three years of dating. But by September 2013, they had called it quits and gone their separate ways. During their time apart Cyrus has dated Schwarzenegger and Hemsworth has been romantically-linked to his Hunger Games co-star Jenner Lawrence.

"Liam cut her off [after their September 2013 split], but she would still text him," the insider shares. "He eventually started answering. They would check in on each other here and there."

In 2014, Cyrus confessed that she is still very much in love with her former fiancé. "I love Liam, Liam loves me," she told Channel Seven reporter Chris Bath.

But despite their "great chemistry" the insider says that Hemswoth is keen to take things slow this time around.

"Liam has rough stories about that relationship," the first source tells 'Us.' "But he always talks about how fun she was to hang out with and their great chemistry."
