Miley Cyrus has toned down her lifestyle in a bid to keep her on-off boyfriend Liam Hemsworth happy, and while she doesn't party as hard as she used to, she's not quite ready to give up her friends for him. The 23-year-old has reportedly set up home in Malibu with the Hollywood heart-throb after they rekindled their romance in December 2015.

But she has had to change her ways after Liam struggled with some of her more outrageous antics including her excessive marijuana usage and her wild party lifestyle. And while The Hunger Games star hasn't stopped Miley from seeing her friends, who he apparently regards as "a bad influence", according to HollywoodLife.com, she has been hanging out with them when her boyfriend is away from home.

"Her life has changed dramatically but it's not a bad thing. It's not like Liam is telling who she can be friends with, but there are certain people she does tend to party pretty hard with and she's not going out with them the way she used to," a source revealed.

"She's still friends with them but she doesn't hang out like she used to. When she's home and Liam is away she has them over, but if he's around they don't really come around because he doesn't like them and thinks they are a bad influence," our insider continues.

It was earlier reported that the Wrecking Ball singer fears being left at the altar and that Hemsworth may succumb to pressure from his family and "wait until the last minute" to dump her. The former Disney star, who has been flashing her Neil Lane engagement ring around town, apparently has her sights set on a summer wedding and doesn't want anything to jeopardize her relationship, even her friends.

The We Won't Stop singer even skipped the Met Gala, one of the most glamorous nights of the year, choosing instead to stay at home with Liam to prove to him that he is her "top priority".

The source explained: "It was important for her to let him know that he and their relationship is her top priority. She wouldn't want to be anywhere else than with him right now".
