The Talent Competition is one of six award categories in the Miss World 2013 contest. The other five are Beach Fashion, Top Model, Sports and Fitness, Beauty with a Purpose and the World Fashion Designer Award.
Contestants wore traditional dress for the pre-talent show, showcasing the ethnicity of the countries they represent. They will wear the same outfits for the final Talent Competition round.
Contestants who practised for the talent round included Miss Brazil Frantz Sancler Konzen, Miss Indonesia Vania Larissa, Miss China Wei Wei Yu, Miss India Navneet Kaur Dhillon, Miss Honduras Monica Alexis Elwin Gough, Miss Puerto Rico Nadyalee Torres, and Miss Mongolia Pagmadulam Sukhbaatar.
"The beautiful contestants of Miss World 2013 added ethnic nuance to the scenery of Bali with their various unique traditional dresses which will be worn for the talent show," the organisers of the pageant said.
At the same time, some of the contestants were filmed for their profile in the golf area of the resort where they have been staying in Bali.
Miss World 2013's first week of events comes to an end in Bali after the opening ceremony. All 131 contestants will then compete in different rounds in Jakarta, where the final is scheduled for 28 September.
