Mona Lisa’s Twin Found
The world's most cherished painting has a twin sister! A copy of the Mona Lisa painting at the Prado Museum in Spain has been found to be made exactly the same time as the original.
Experts were unaware of the copy that had been painted by one of the pupils of Da Vinci. The painting has been preserved better than the original that gives a much younger look to Mona Lisa. The copy in Spain has an added eyebrow and an odd black background compared to the original.
"This sensational picture will transform our understanding of the world's most famous picture," said the Art Newspaper that first discovered the similarity.
Mona Lisa is believed to be a Florentine merchant's wife who was very beautiful and seductive.
