MTV Video Music Awards 2015: Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, FKA twigs and more sizzle on the red carpet

Celebrities looked their best at the MTV Video Music Awards 2015 held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on 30 August. American singer/songwriter Miley Cyrus, who hosted the event, left very little to the imagination in a custom Versace outfit that consisted of a silver-strapped top and bedazzling skirt. The 22-year-old former Disney star completed the look with thigh-high silver boots and blonde dreadlocks.

Taylor Swift looked classy in a crop top and midriff-baring trouser set by Ashish. The Bad Blood singer completed the look with Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

Selena Gomez turned heads in a floor-length black Calvin Klein gown. Justin Bieber's former girlfriend completed the look with an Ara Vartanian bracelet and matching Aquazzura shoes.

Cara Delevingne kept it simple with a short, patterned Saint Laurent dress. The 23-year-old fashion model finished the look with Stuart Weitzman heels.

Demi Lovato wore a pink Nicolas Jebran dress. The 23-year-old singer completed the look with nude Christian Louboutin shoes and Suzanne Kalan jewellery.

Vanessa Hudgens looked stunning in a Naeem Khan dress. The 26-year-old Spring Breakers star matched the gown with Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Rita Ora hit the red carpet in a black Vera Wang custom gown. She completed the look with Stuart Weitzman heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

FKA twigs looked elegant in a Atelier Versace corset and skirt outfit. Robert Pattinson's girlfriend kept it simple and stylish with Eva Fehren jewellery.
