Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne catfight: Fashion legend denies clashing over Rihanna
Veteran supermodel Naomi Campbell has slammed reports that she got into a catfight with Cara Delevingne in Paris as "completely untrue."
An article published in the New York Post's Page Six alleged that Campbell had become irate after Delevingne insulted their mutual friend Rihanna as they all partied at Dasha Zhukova's Garage Magazine release party at Paris club Castel.
According to an eye witness "Naomi accused Cara of 'disrespecting' Rihanna and started yelling, before Naomi pushed Cara, who pushed back."
Another source claimed that Delevingne, 22, even grabbed Campbell's hair during their clash but luckily "it didn't come off."
"It was a noisy and packed party. Naomi was saying all these nonsensical things, she was ranting. There was a messy pushing match. Cara didn't understand because there's no problem between her and Rihanna. Cara didn't want to be involved and was telling Naomi, 'Get away from me!'" another insider revealed.
The trio have been spotted together at a number of events for Paris fashion week but things are said to have gone sour because Campbell "was angry because she felt Cara had said something negative about Rihanna."
Despite her reputation as a diva, 44-year-old Campbell insists the fight never happened. Taking to social media the 5ft 9in star, who famously assaulted her personal assistant with a mobile phone and has struggled with anger issues in the past, strongly refuted the claims.
Her spokesperson also told MailOnline: "No fight took place between Naomi Campbell and Cara Delevingne at Paris club Castel."
