Nick Cannon confirms he is expecting a baby with Brittany Bell

Nick Cannon has confirmed that he and former Miss Arizona USA Brittany Bell are expecting a baby together, just two weeks after his divorce with Mariah Carey was finalised.

Cannon shares five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Carey.

Speaking on the Breakfast Club on Thursday, the America's Got Talent host said he is going to be a father for the third time. Cannon and Bell have been dating on and off since 2015.

"I've got a baby on the way," the 36-year-old said. (Via PageSix) "God said be fruitful and multiply. I'm doing the Lord's work ... everybody get a baby! I'm passing them out."

Cannon would not call Bell his former girlfriend and added that "ex Mariah [Carey] is my last 'ex.' Everybody else is people that I've known, loved and cared for." (Via People)

Last week, Bell shared a photo of her growing baby bump on Instagram with the caption: "'Children are a gift from God...' Psalm 127:3."

On 17 November, Bell shared a photo of herself with her friends on the photo sharing app.

She wrote: "A sweet moment of #celebration with a few of the many incredible women in my life. Missing the rest of you Miss USA /Miss Universe not only puts you in a rare sisterhood no money can buy.. but your child ends up with some of the most naturally beautiful, sweetest, and strongest women from around the country/world to call Aunties!! ."

When Cannon was told "Mariah's available again", he played it coy with his reply. "Is she? You know better than me. Is she?" he asked. Carey recently split from fiance James Packer.

When told the former couple had called off their engagement, Cannon said: "Did they? I thought they was working it out...I'm on a need-to-know basis. As long as my kids are good...I don't want to know none of that other stuff," he said.
