Nigella Lawson and Pierce Brosnan Planning a Hawaiian Getaway
Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson has been offered a stress-free Hawaiian holiday by Hollywood star and former James Bond actor, Pierce Brosnan.
Lawson's personal life has been the centre of attention ever since her former husband, art tycoon Charles Saatchi, was pictured apparently throttling her in public.
Saatchi subsequently alleged that the she was a regular drug-user, even calling her "higella" in an e-mail leaked to the press.
"Pierce has always been there for Nigella, especially in some of the darkest moments of her life. She knows she needs to bounce back from the horrendous events of the past few weeks. Nigella will decide whether to take up Pierce's kind offer of the house over the next day or so," sources close to Lawson claimed.
"She wants to be around her family and around her close friends over Christmas, but is considering flying out to Hawaii at some point. She is just so grateful that she can continue to rely on the support of loyal friends like Pierce in her life," the source added to The Mirror.
Lawson was previously spotted with Brosnan when she was in the midst of the turmoil in her life after Saatchi filed for divorce. The 53-year-old television star and the 60-year-old Irish actor and film producer were seen at Bocca di Lupo, an Italian restaurant in central London.
"Nigella and Pierce seemed very happy to see one another and were engrossed in conversation after sitting down together for a chat. It was clear they both enjoyed the opportunity to share some time together," a fellow diner stated.
Both Lawson and Brosnan were going through quite a hard patch back then. She was in the middle of a public divorce from husband Charles Saatchi, while he was recovering from the death of his daughter, Charlotte Emily, from ovarian cancer.
"It was nice to see both of them being able to laugh and smile in public again. They are clearly great friends trying to get on with their lives," the source added.
