Star Trek's Sir Patrick Stewart at Twitter IPO to 'Make It So' [VIDEO]
Twitter shares are tipped to soar by over 80% from the upper range of its initial public offering price on the New York Stock Exchange.
To mark the occasion, while also somewhat stealing the limelight, Star Trek captain and X-men star Sir Patrick Stewart rang the opening bell to get traders fully engaged with the highly anticipated floatation.
The social media giant's stock is forecasted to hit $46 per share on market open, which is over 80% up from its $23 to $25 IPO valuation.
Stewart also went on financial news channel CNBC and declared that "Twitter is a significant aspect of my career".
Twitter may be setting the markets alight today but Stewart is also causing a flutter on micro blogging site.
