Met Police have released this CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the rape Met Police

Police are hunting for a man in connection with the rape of a 19-year-old man at a nightclub in London.

The assault happened in the men's toilets of the Pryzm nightclub in Clarence Street, Kingston-upon-Thames, in the early hours of 3 April.

The suspect is believed to be in his early to mid twenties and is around 5ft 8in. He is described as being of Mediterranean origin or a light-skinned black man.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Sexual Offences, Exploitation, and Child Abuse Command are now investigating and are hoping members of the public will be able to identify the man in the CCTV image.

Detective Sergeant Janet Archibald said: "I am asking the man shown in the image to come forward and speak with me, since he may have information that would assist the investigation.

"I also wish to hear from anyone who knows this man's identity, or who has information relating to the incident at Pryzm nightclub on 3 April."
