Much-loved film actor Alan Rickman has died 69 following a battle with cancer, his family has confirmed. Tributes continue to pour in for the actor, with Harry Potter author JK Rowling describing him as a "magnificent actor and a wonderful man".

Fellow actor Stephen Fry added: "What desperately sad news about Alan Rickman. A man of such talent, wicked charm & stunning screen and stage presence. He'll be sorely missed."
