Power season 2 finale: 50 Cent teases death of a major character in episode 10 titled 'Ghost Is Dead'
The finale of Power season 2 is just around the corner, but fans of the popular Starz series can look forward to more drama and action as the show gets renewed for season 3.
According to Variety, Starz has already ordered 10 episodes for season 3. "I am thrilled to learn that season three of Power has been officially ordered by Starz. It is an honor to work with Chris Albrecht [Starz CEO], Carmi Zlotnik [Starz MD], Ken Segna [SVP Original Programming, Starz] and the whole Starz team. Their support has been steadfast from the beginning, and I look forward to a bright future together," showrunner Kemp Agboh said.
American rapper 50 Cent, who plays Kanan on the show and served as a showrunner, added: "Power is a project I have been passionate about since day one. I am glad the audience loves the show as much as we do, and we are just getting started."
While promoting his new film, Southpaw, 50 Cent also teased some interesting behind-the-scenes info of the hit show and revealed that one of the characters will die in the season finale, The Urban Daily reported.
The official synopsis of Power season 2 episode 10 reads: "In the Season 2 finale, members of Ghost's organization are turning up dead, and each body hits closer to home for him and Tommy as the threat of Kanan and Angela's investigation becomes more imminent."
It's hard to imagine that Ghost could be at the receiving end of a bullet in the finale episode. So, who will most likely die? Would it be Tommy? That remains to be seen.
Power season 2 airs this Saturday at 9pm ET on Starz.
