Pregnant Katie Price Rushed to Hospital as Kieran Hayler's Betrayal Takes Toll

Katie Price was rushed to hospital after doctors expressed fears that stress caused by her cheating husband could be putting her baby at risk.

The reality star and glamour model recently ended her marriage to part-time stripper Kieran Hayler after discovering he had had a seven-month affair with her best friend Jane Pountney.

A source said: "Its not an understatement to say that Price and the people around her are terrified about the birth. [Her son] Jett's delivery was absolutely horrific and there were moments when it was touch and go for Katie.

"Her condition, including her stress levels, is being monitored by doctors and that's why it was necessary to go into hospital. Everyone is being cautious because it wouldn't be helpful for her to go into labour early"

The 36-year-old star reunited with her estranged husband Hayler for the hospital appointment which is their first public appearance since news of his seven-month affair broke.

Hayler has been determined to try and win back his wife and it is thought that all of the mixed emotions Price has been experiencing of late have contributed to her stress.

According to a source: "She's an emotional wreck. She absolutely hates what Kieran did to her and is trying to be strong about the end of her marriage. But at the same time she's heavily pregnant with his baby and feels very vulnerable. Of course, she wants him to be a part of the process.

"She felt very mixed emotions being around Kieran, on one hand she loves him because you can't just switch those feelings off but at the same time she's angry with him for what he put her through so this definitely isn't a sign they'll get back together."

Price, who is currently six months pregnant with her fifth child already has Harvey, 11, with former footballer Dwight York, as well as Princess, six, and Junior, eight, from her marriage to Peter Andre and eight-month old Jett with Hayler.
